Cupping
Cupping is an ancient healing technique that has been used for centuries to promote circulation, relieve muscle tension, and support the body’s natural recovery processes.
During a cupping session, specially designed glass or silicone cups are gently placed on the skin to create suction. This process draws stagnant blood and toxins to the surface, allowing the body to clear them and restore a healthy flow of energy.
Many clients find cupping to be incredibly soothing, as it provides a deep, relaxing sensation that helps ease tight muscles and reduce discomfort. The suction created by the cups helps release areas of tension, especially in the back, shoulders, and neck, where stress tends to accumulate. It can also be highly beneficial for anyone experiencing chronic pain, muscle soreness, or tightness from physical activity.
If you’re trying cupping for the first time, you can expect the treatment to last about 20 to 30 minutes. I will carefully place the cups on specific areas of your body, based on your individual needs and health concerns. You might feel a gentle pulling or stretching sensation, but it’s generally very comfortable.
The marks left on your skin afterward are a normal part of the process and typically fade within a few days.
In addition to its physical benefits, cupping can help with respiratory issues such as colds, congestion, and allergies.
It’s also commonly used to support the body’s detoxification process, improving circulation and overall vitality.
If you’ve never experienced cupping before, I’m here to answer any questions and ensure you feel comfortable throughout the session. My priority is to make sure you feel relaxed and cared for as your body begins to release tension and restore balance naturally.
Cupping is a powerful yet gentle method of enhancing your body’s ability to heal. Whether you’re dealing with muscle soreness, tension, or other physical concerns, cupping offers an effective way to support your overall wellness.
